Sorry for that. If only selected sheets is set under tools-options-spreadsheet-print, only the selected sheet is printed even if a print range is defined. Checked it with OOo1.9.130 and found it working. Normally this Issue should be reopened and closed again as worksforme but this would cause unnecessary traffic. First, I think printing a draft on the latest working-on sheet is quite frequent, it would be more effective to have a feature that enable the user to print just the active sheet, that is the sheet with its tab selected and top most. To go to the preview to determine its page number is not as effective because a sheet may ended up as multiple pages in print. if we are to use the current feature, we have to go through pages in preview just to determine the print range. Second, to reflect better on the current function of the print options, at least the wording in Tools/Options/Spreadsheet/Print/Print only selected sheets should be changed to Print only selected ranges. IMHO this is as expected and should stay as it is. If I define a set of print ranges, I decided to print just these. If I want to print just a special page of the document I can use print preview to determine the page number and and use print page number xx in the print dialog. So I close this one as invalid.
