If you open your example document you can see that two sheets are actually contained in the document. One of them is hidden as it was a former linked file. This sheet has a note in cell B1. The Navigator shows all notes even the ones on hidden sheets. Double clicking on such a note will place the cell cursor on the cell one sheet in front of the hidden one. To remove this note go to Format-Sheet-Show and unhide the sheet. Now you can erase the note or the entire sheet. Doesn't work. 5) delete the column B. The note still in Navigator. Even creating a new sheet, deleting the first one. The note on cel B1 can't be deleted. With a new note there's no problem.
