That when you select multiple cells in the header row no entries are available
for the AutoFilter is because AutoFilter is only activated for the selected
cells except if only one cell is selected or has the focus (auto-adjusting of
AutoFilter). Try to select A1:C3 if you have 3 columns of data with multiple
rows (=3) and activate AutoFilter and see that the AutoFilter only lists the
selected elements.
