You can set the type of subtotal for each Dataset independently. To do so, just select each data field and click on the function you want. Not adding the Subtotals ofcourse. Maybe the helptekst could be enhanched, but that is an other discussion... There is a work-around: Choose the Data Subtotal (Averages) for each column separately, rather than for the whole block of data at once. It seems that Calc only applies the average to the last column, and sums the other subtotals... - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I tried several times and it doesn't work. Then I made some simple numbers to check the function, as below; NAMEDATA1 DATA2 DATA3 DATA4 A 1 2 3 4 A 2 3 4 5 B 3 4 5 6 B 4 5 6 7 Operation: DATA - Subtotal - average of DATA1-4 -- NAMEDATA1 DATA2 DATA3 DATA4 A 1 2 3 4 A 2 3 4 5 A 结果3 2.5 7 9 B 3 4 5 6 B 4 5 6 7 B 结果7 4.5 11 13 总结果 10 3.5 18 22 Note that only the second column is good. (结果 means result) I'm using the chinese version of openoffice 2.0.3-4 dapper under Ubuntu linux with XFCE4 desktop, and my CPU is AMD athlon 1700+. I have not had the same thing tested on another's openoffice so I do not know whether this is a common problem, however this is indeed a common function I use, so do many people I think. Thanks for your attention and hardwork on this great software. Best regards - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
