Hi,

you may try the option setting 'Supress output of empty pages' under
tools-options-OpenOffice.org Calc-Print

Frank,
any chance of setting 'Supress output of empty pages' to checked on
installation (see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=10530)?

murdie,
you have color background stretching to the very last columnt, which causes
Calc to print tons of pages with horizontal bands on them.
In order to fix that select columns from H to the last one, click Background
color button (second from the right on Formatting toolbar and click No
Fill).
Resolving as Invalid.
Feel free to open if you have additional details.

Printing the attached spreadsheet (TaskList.xls) to all PostScript printers I
have tried causes an indefinite number of sheets of paper to be printed - the
first four have data on them together with a thick black band at the top of the
portrait page, with a thick grey band immediately below, and then seven thinner
grey bands below that. Subsequent pages have just the black and grey bands. I
killed the print job at the printer after 350 such useless pages, as I did not
have the patience or the paper to continue.

To reproduce the bug printing to e.g. an HP LaserJet 8150 or 9000:

1. File - Open TaskList.xls, Press Open
2. File - Print (Check Properties = A4, Portrait, Flip on Long Edge, Tray 4,
100%), Press Ok
3. Go to printer, watch hundreds of pieces of paper emerge. Press red kill
button when you've seen enough.
