If this is according to the specifications of
ordering the autocomplete items and preselecting the
first item and using tab to scroll through them,
you may close this one as invalid.

Thanks.

Windows XP Home, Chinese (Traditional characters).
OpenOffice Calc 2.0.1, Chinese (Traditional characters).

1. Open blank document.

2. In cell A1 type a1.

3. In cell A2 type a2.

4. In cell A3 type a and don't type anything yet.

5. Now cell A3 is preselected at a1.

6. COMMENT: However, in a bug spreadsheet
with a lot of cells, it is more probably that you have a lot of a1's
near each other, and a lot of a2's near each other. So it is
more suggestible that the preselected match for cell A3 is
the *nearest* matching content (above the current cell),
namely a2, instead of the *first*
matching content, namely a1.

Thanks.
