MRU-HI: can you reproduce the problem, that after a system reboot the PDF
Export dialog does not have a name proposal on the firsdt time you use it?

I still cannot see the problem. I rebootet my PC (WinXP), started OO 2.0.3,
opened an existing document, FIle.Export as PDF - The dialog was filled with
the filename of the opened document.
I have an idea (just an assumption): Do you have WinXP with all SP's and
updates? I mean, OOo uses the Windows system dialog for load/save in this point;
maybe it is a bug in this dialog (it maybe wrongly initialized on first call)
which has been fixed in a WinXP update...

I have WinXP Pro with all SPs.
I don't know what version of XP the other guy had.
It is only a minor annoyance anyways because it only happens the first time.
Even if I quit OOo, it won't happen again unless I reboot.

That is exactly what the dialog does in my eyes... Open an existing document,
select File.Export as PDF and the PDF dialog proposes the current name of the
opened file...
Only if you create a new document, there will be no FileNameProposal, because
the document has not been saved and thus it is nameless...

This works for you on WinXP? (it reportedly works on Linux).
Reboot your computer and try exporting to PDF the first document you open.
I asked on the user mailing list and someone confirmed it doesn't work for them
either.
Mine does work after I have done one.
If it works for you, I will leave it closed. :-(

How about populating with the filename that was loaded?
Sometimes I want to export a PDF file but I don't want to make any changes to
it.

Yeah, the Export to PDF dialog will only have a proposal for filename when the
source document has been saved at least once. Otherwise there won't be a
possibility for OO to get a proposal for a file name. And Untitled2 as a name
would be a thing which is quite inconsistent with itself ;-)

WinXP Pro - Ooo-2.0.3
I can't try it in Linux (64 bit only) but I heard it works.

When I export to PDF, it usually populates the filename of what I'm working on
but I think the first time (I'm not sure but very early in my use, the filename
to export as is blank :-().
