OOo showed me several objects as empty frames; after activating the objects many showed the same content F+dF_R=F+dF (right in 7.2. Gleitreibung and below). Is it desired that these objects are all the same or did you enter there different values? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It's running WinXP SP3 and I used the latest OO (310m19 (Build:9420)) downloaded at openoffice.org. I started to rewrite the lost formulas and it went fine until a certain point of time. I saved the document every 10 formulas or so under a different name. I uploaded these files here, the good one 007 the bad one 008 (which is also smaller in size than 007). The errors/regression is on page 53! Maybe you can figure out now what went wrong... - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Later I moved on to the ones provided in a PPA : http://ppa.launchpad.net/openoffice-pkgs/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openoffice.org/ I don't know who the owner of this PPA is, but it seems to be commonly used by ubuntu users. I never installed the build provided by the OOo website, because it's more difficult to install. I will try to continue working on it at the University where they've got windows machines. I'm going to upload another file where it did only occur once or twice. I started with that one before the other one, but it also got far less formulas in it. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I still got the same errors, as you can see in the updated file (01.1) of my handout. So I guess this is not related to memory settings anymore, but a real bug in OO. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I includes many equations, formulas etc. and I think I found a huge bug in OO Formula or Writer, I don't know which program is the one to blame. I write equations inside Writer using OO Formula, and it works great at first but when I save my document and reopen it again later to go on, some of the formulas are gone. Instead of the formula there is only an object with its respective number in the row of objects. When I double-click on one of the broken one to edit them again, only a window pops up saying General Error. It doesn't happen with every formula, but the longer my document is, the more often the error occurs. This is really annoying and costs much time. I'm using OO 3.1 on Ubuntu 9.04 32 bit. I also tested with 3.0, same error and on WinXP SP3 with OO 3.1, same error. I would like to send you my document so you can see what I'm reporting here.
