Thus it does not belong to the outline anymore. right-click into Heading of alphabetical index, choose "Edit paragraph style". As to your gentle suggestion, I am not clear what you mean by adding an attribute, assuming I need to do it to the field 'Intestazione Indice Analitico' in the Italian version, the translation is not obvious. p.s. It is a "hard" (or direct attribute) fornat which is overwritten every time the index is updated. To replicate the error it is enough to refresh the Alphabetic Index and than the General Index to the see the header of the former disappearing from the latter.
