CUPS is used as printing subsystem, together with a vendor-provided printer driver (Brother cups wrapper and lpr-drivers-bh7). When I open the print dialog in OO Writer, the application freezes and the wohle system's GUI becomes unresponsive. When I switch the GUI to the English language version, printing works like expected.
