Please ignore the current issue. It is actually already possible to convert an
item in metafile simply but cut/special paste metafile GDI (ctrl+x /
ctrl+shft+v) in writer module.

Hello,

This issue may be an addendum to n°94130 (i.e. : make the Drawing crop button
available in word processor).
Until the unification of graphic objects and the translation of the drawing
functions in the word processor, it would be really interesting to get the
function modify/convert to/metafile directly in word processor.
This function considerably improves the formula resizing (and even cropping if
the button was available).
