Open Office crashed while pasting multilingual characters (Eg: നിരവധി) in to it.

Rather strange to see new bugs from Fedora 8 when the current version is Fedora
12. What is the output of rpm -q libicu ?

I suspect that you have kartika.ttf installed somewhere (maybe recently) and you
don't have the libicu update that was pushed out in November 2007 which fixes a
crash with that font.
