I started to open a large document on a virtual desktop (#1) under xfce.
So that I could do some other work while waiting for the document to open, I
switched to another desktop (#2). In the middle of working on desktop #2,
Openoffice switched the display to desktop #1, and stole the keyboard input from
the other application I was running on desktop #2.
I switched back to desktop 2. Then Openoffice switched the display to desktop #1
a second time!

Open office should not change the active desktop.
