Even after export to xhtml all symbols and brackets are displayed properly. Is the OpenSymbol font available on your system (in c:\Windows\Fonts)? I found my formulas messed up the next day after I exported to xhtml so i assumed it might have something to do with it. Anyway, I uninstalled and reinstalled OOo and everything works fine again. Btw. I just remember, the day before I also installed Design Science MathPlayer, a browser plug-in to view webpages with MathML markup. Brackets () and + signs become centered dots, SetN etc. become ordinary capitals in some font etc. Maybe this bug is caused by exporting a file (text-document in which formulas were included) to xhtml.
