While the thesaurus seems quite comprehensive, it would appear to me that it
would be much more useful if it could break down words by parts of speech. For
example, the word "bother" can be used as either a verb or a noun. The thesaurus
gives a long list, based on both possibilities. It would be great if the user
could specify that he/she is interested in synonyms of the word when used as a
noun (for example), and then the list would be more attuned to the person's
needs right then. 

I realize this is a major job in classification, and am just submitting the idea
with the hope that it might be implemented at some time in the future.
