If you have polish keyboard layout (and I think you can set it - it is polski (programisty)) you have to press right alt + 'a'. Only while editing notes, and only in Writer (in CALC, and IMPRESS i can insert this character, and i had not figured how to insert them in DRAW) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54623 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 15 01:27:36 -0700 2005 --- Physically it is a normal US keyboard, and polish (it is polish (programmer)) layout changes only that that when I press right alt 'a' changes to 'ą', 'c' to 'ć'. 'e' to 'ę' etc. If you want to look at this keyboard layout, it is on http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/keyboards.mspx, choose (polish programmer). Only problem is that this page does not work with Firefox, and I had to open it in IE.
