Hi Marc,
no, it's only one - the last one at the time of installation. I see now that
this can be changed using tools/table filter. Maybe selecting all tables
automatically when creating the data source during installation would be a
better (i. e., less confusing to the vs2 newbie) solution.
Bye Wolfgang

hi,

Can you please open the file Mozilla Adressen.odb and see under Extras /
Tabellenfilter if all tables are selected?

The wrong string for Pers?nliches Adre?buch is issue 59086.

Bye Marc

On installing 2.0 rc2 parallel to 1.1.x, the installer offered to take over the
old personal settings. In doing that, I find that a new database source was
created automatically from the Mozilla address book. Opening the resulting
Mozilla Adressen.odb file shows that of all tables only one was taken over,
the others do not appear. As I said, I get all tables if I create the data
source manually by linking to the address book and explicitly select all tables.
So what seems to happen is that this automatic creation of the data source on
installing only selects one - the last - table rather than offering a choice or
selecting all tables. Hope that clarifies matters.

No bug. Use the Mail Merge Wizard in menu Tools. Only one Table is shown at a
time, but you can switch easily between the tables with the button Change
Table. And if you use data sources from menu View all tables are there. Have
you used the wizard Address Data Source?

Sorry regina, but my point is that neither change tables nor view does work
as you say - I am only offered the last of several tables as a choice and the
others are simply not accessible.
The problem does not occur if instead of accessing Mozilla address book
directly, I create an OpenOffice data base by connecting to it. Using the
latter, I can indeed make all tables accessible and change tables. But only
then. Surely that is not as intended?
