OOo 2.1 Windows XP Pro SP2 To reproduce the problem: Create a new document Insert the date modification field (Ctrl-F2-DocInformation-Modified-Date) Save file in .odt format Then Save As... Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) Select Yes to save in Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP format Close document. Reopen the .doc document in OpenOffice. Now the field shows the Author and not the modification name.
