HI-> UFI: In this case, the online help between StarOffice and OpenOffice should
be different.
- StarOffice has Autotext for Business Cards, Home
- OpenOffice has no Autotext for Business Cards, Home (which is normal, like OOo
also has no samples and templates like StarOffice)
-> Therefore Business Cards, Home is not available at the Autotext pull down
menu.

Let's step back and see logically how this is supposed to work.

If you go to Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > User Data, there is an Address
form there that you can populate with company and personal information. This
information can subsequently be used by the Business Card wizard.

Now if you go to File > New > Business Cards and select the Private tab, you can
see the personal, non-company information that you entered into the Address form
under step 1, above. In addition to this you are given the opportunity to enter
a second name.

In order to populate a business card with this information the next step is to
select the Business Cards tab. Finally, you should be able to select "Business
Card, Home" from the pull down menu that appears under the Auto Text - Section.
This is the menu selection item that is missing.

I know this item is missing because the Help system makes explicit reference to
this item under the Help for the private tab. It is reproduced below:

Private
Contains personal contact information for business cards that use a layout from
a 'Business Card, Home' category. Business card layouts are selected on the
Business Cards tab.
To access this command...
Choose File - New - Business Cards - Private tab

Private data
Enter the contact information that you want to include on your business card.
You can also modify or update these entries by choosing Tools - Options -
OpenOffice.org - User Data.
First name
Type your first name.
Last name
Type your last name.
Initials
Type your initials.
First name 2
Enter the first name of the person, whom you want to use as a second contact.
Last name 2
Enter the last name of the person, whom you want to use as a second contact.
Initials 2
Enter the initials of the person, whom you want to use as a second contact.
Street
Type the name of your street in this field.
ZIP
Type your ZIP in this field.
City
Type the city where you live.
State
Type your state.
Country
Enter the name of the country in which you live.
Title
Type your title in this field.
Profession
Enter the title of your profession.
Phone
Enter your home telephone number.
Mobile
Enter your mobile telephone number.
Fax
Type your fax number in this field.
Homepage
Enter the address of your internet homepage.
E-mail
Type your e-mail address. For example, [EMAIL PROTECTED]

So the issue is unresolved and will remain that way until the Business Cards,
Home item is made to reappear in the Auto Text - Section pull down menu.

I can not see any hint in HELP concerning the mentioned missing item. The help
text you attached is concerning a TAB, not concerning a pulldown item. I also
checked 2.0.2 and 1.1.4 - no additional pulldown item visible. So I close this
issue as INVALID.

Please feel free to reopen this issue if you can provide conclusive hints that
online help contains a pulldown item missing in the GUI.

When you open the Business Card wizard (File > New > Business Cards) pop up
window you get 6 tabs. If you select the Business Cards tab, there is a imbeded
pull down menu at the bottom left of the window that is labeled Auto Text -
Section.

That pull down menu has an item that is missing. There should be a menu item
called "Business Cards, Home." In the last several releases of the software only
the item called "Business Cards, Work" has appeared. I am going to try to attach
a screen shot of the Business Cards window to show you where to go looking for
this problem.

@vchapman:
I can't follow your instructions. Can you please contribute a more detailed step
by step instruction and may be some screenshots?
What "documentation" are you talking about? Online Help or something else?

I guess I must be impatient, or maybe there aren't many individuals wanting to
make business cards, but how long does an issue take to receive some kind of a
response?

The documentation for a business card describes two types of cards, business and
home (private). If you access the "Business Card" wizard (template) and select
the Business Card tab you are presented with two option menus, "Content" and
"AutoText - Section." According to the documentation, the pull down menu for the
AutoText - Section should have entries for Business Card, Work and Business
Card, Home.

The Business Card, Home category is missing. As a result, the information that
is entered under the Private tab cannot be accessed.
