If run from the terminal: 1. type: ooffice -writer 2. splash screen comes up and the loading bar advances completely 3. the GUI starts to initialize 4 => Crashes, with no error in the terminal I also tried running from the terminal with different options (and with no options) i.e.: 1. ooffice 2. ooffice -invisible The result seems to be about the same...it crashes, probably when it tries to communicate with cupsd. With cupsd running, everything returns to normal. This is my first bugreport -- sorry if I've done something wrong.
