@mod: "Can we leave this as enhancement or do you see this essential for
integration of first version?"

Answer: neither, nore! ;) I regard this as a bug (because quite every list is
nowadays scrollable with the mouse wheel) but you may leave it for 3.x if you
are really to busy for 3.0! :)

Well I don't understamd now the "RESOLVED FIXED" and reassignment to me...
Do you have an newer build? Please let me know over MBA! Thanx!

Hi! Thanks for the comment, I wasn't aware of the scroll buttons. Nevertheless,
it makes sense to restrict the scrolling to the Note Windows and the Document.
The user will reach the upper or lower part of the Note Side Pane and see that
there are more (currently invisible) Notes Windows.

Summary: note - document

@mba,christoph

>> Example: During scrolling down, the bottom of a
>> scrollable note is reached. Using the mouse wheel again downwards, the
>> document
>> content is scrolled.

if the sidebar has scrollbars, this would be

note - sidebar - document or if the cursor is not over a note just,

sidebar - document

or should the sidebar scrollbars only be scrollable with the buttons?

Description is based on the document of Notes2 build 2286 edgy-jdk.

Current behavior: During hovering the mouse pointer over the input field of the
notes window, no scrolling is possible by the use of the mouse whelle (neither
scrolling of document nor notes content)

Expected behavior: The content of the document and the notes content should be
scrollable with the mouse wheel or similar input devices.

Proposed behavior: If the mouse wheel is used, the object which is below the
mouse pointer gets scrolled. If the object is at an extreme position (top
position, bottom position), another use of the mouse wheel causes the root
object to be scrolled. Example: During scrolling down, the bottom of a
scrollable note is reached. Using the mouse wheel again downwards, the document
content is scrolled.
