SBA: WordCompletion indeed does skip words that are misspelled. So the state
(ON/OFF) of AutoSpellCheck does influence the collection behavior.

SBA-lars: Feel free to re-open or write a new issue if you run into a reliable
scenario :-)
We have enough real issues open, IMHO. :-)
Closing this one.

Right. If spell is enabled only words which are not red underlined will be
collected.

Think you can set ths issue to invalid.

Autocomplete or Word completion if that is more correct works in general. Yet 2
different times when testing OOo 3.0 Beta m2 and starting from a fresh document
I expected autocomplete to suggest the word and it didn't and didn't again
although the entered word matched the requirements. I haven't got a step-by-
step description available. So be on the lookout!

Is the option collect words activated
Is the word seen in the wordlist?

Under WinXp SP3 I have no problems.

collect words is enabled. I didn't check whether the word was seen in the list.

The problem could be that the word was considered wrongly spelled (red wavy
underline) and thus not collected.

when does autocomplete start to collect words?

I open Writer, enter a correctly-spelled word with more than the minimum length
for collection and type space and type the first letters of the just typed word
again. I don't get an autocomplete suggestion. Something is wrong.
