Then, the error dialog appears, as mentioned by jimjutte and drorlev. Not sure if this is related or not, but when using OOoLatex, if you edit a formula created by the macro and try to update it, Writer crashes. Further debugging attempt shows that it crashes when attempting to call uno:cut.
