Write some text in writer, e.g. two or three sentences, each sentence as a
paragraph, using paragraph-format standard (take e.g. this text :-) ).

Then in one of the paragraphs take one of the written words and set
Schrifteffekt (font-effect) to durchgestrichen (strikethrough), and take
another word and set font-effect to bold.

Then mark the above paragraph and set paragraph-format to a distint value, e.g.
textkörper (textbody ?).

Now the font-effect strikethrough will be lost, but not the font-effect
bold.

By this bug (losing font-effect strikethrough) I lost a not small amount of
work ...

Kind regards
tommyads

I have to correct my above issue:

1) Only if the whole text of the paragraph has a font-effect, then changing the
paragraph-format deletes the font-effect; i.e. if only some words have
font-effects, then these are not changed.

2) this also happens for bold, underline, italic, ...

3) it also happens for paragraphs in a list (enumerations)

Kind regards,
tommyads

Now I made a small experiment:

Take this first paragraph with a blank at the end

Take this second paragraph without a blank at the end

In the first paragraph set all text minus the last blank to bold. Then delete
this last blank.

In the second paragraph set all text to bold.

Now change the paragraph-format for each paragraph: in the first, the text will
stay bold, but not in the second paragraph!

That is common behavior in Word processors. If a whole paragraph is formatted
with a certain hard attribute, it is interpreted as if it belongs to the style
will be also overwritten. Because it makes sense and in order of compatibility
in behavior of other Word Pro's we won't change it.
