This is essentially what I need to put into the PDF file; if you need a different interface, please tell me. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=93063 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 24 00:56:17 + 2008 --- Attached an example of a PDF exported document that, when opened with Adobe Reader, the viewer page counter does not follow strictly the number "in" the current page. I tried with both the direct button for export document to PDF and the File > Export to PDF format. Tried also with different SO and different PDF options. All times I obtain the same result. Now I link another example of a PDF document (generated with pdfeTeX) that, when opened with Adobe Reader, the viewer page counter follows strictly the number "in" the current page: http://tobi.oetiker.ch/lshort/lshort.pdf - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=93063 Issue #|93063 Summary|PDF viewer page counter does not follow page numbering Component|Word processor Version|OOo 2.4.1 Platform|All URL| OS/Version|All Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|ENHANCEMENT Priority|P4 Subcomponent|save-export Assigned to|mru Reported by|idx906 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 24 00:45:06 + 2008 --- This issue applies to PDF documents generated from OOo Writer, when they have different page numbering formats (i, ii, iii... for first pages; 1, 2, 3... for the next ones), especially if they include page breaks with page number reset. When these documents are opened with a PDF viewer, the PDF viewer page counter shows the current page number counting from the cover page as Page 1 (i.e.: "3"), in place of the actual number written in the page (i.e.: "iii"). Other PDF generation engines are able to obtain PDF documents which, when are opened with Adobe Reader (I don't know if other PDF viewers support this feature), the viewer page counter shows strictly the page number. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
