That must have been a "broken" dictionary. Not even naming the language affected
makes this issue not easier to get a guess what WAS wrong.

Please see
http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/basic_rules.html

I have no problems in OOO310_m10. Set to "Worksforme".

I don't have any problem with spellcheck( Windows HP, OOO310m9).
When I tiped words correctly, it was no sign that they spelled incorrectly.
When I tiped words incorrectly, it was sign they spelled incorrectly.
The spellcheck shows what it recommended instead.

I think you have not the correct language set to your default paragraph or you
have not the expected spellchecker install.
This issue would better suit in [EMAIL PROTECTED] than here but I forward it...

While writing in OpenOffice writer, I noticed that every single word I typed,
even words such as "of" and "blue", were considered to be spelled incorrectly.
On top of that, when I checked the spellcheck to see what it recommended
instead, it had no options. I believe this concludes that there is nothing in
the dictionary at this point of time for OpenOffice 3.0 Beta. Is there any way
to fix such a problem?
