I would need to maintain the neon-0.24.X support for some time because we have this older version on SLED10, we still update OOo for this product... neon-0.24.7 is more than 3 years old. I agree that it is a nightmare to maintain support for too many older versions. We have to define the boundary somewhere. 3 years might be too much. The patch was nice to have it upstream.
