Maybe the results from the usability tests can help move us to a decision. In any case, changing this term everywhere would be a huge task (365 UI strings with "field" in them). But I suggest starting with Writer strings only and the corresponding menu entries in Impress/Draw and Calc, then moving the fix across those apps as priority allows. However, we have also had negative user feedback regarding the terms "field X" in general and may completely rename such features in Office Later because most users do not identify with "fields".
