To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=87931 User obr changed the following: What|Old value |New value CC|''|'obr' Assigned to|sba |macport --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 7 18:49:44 + 2008 --- MacOS X fonts need to be converted to get used by the X11 version of OOo. It is very unlikely that saying yes to any of these questions will do any harm to any of your documents. However, you might want to try the aqua version of OOo, which doesn't asked these questions as it can use the MacOS X fonts directly. Even though it is not released yet, I think it already is quite usable. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Do you want OpenOffice 2.3 to use the fonts you have installed on this system? How am I supposed to know how to answer these questions? If I say yes, will I get into trouble with existing documents that don't use Apple's fonts? Will Apple's fonts be used in place of the X fonts? Why wouldn't I want to use Apple system fonts and/or fonts I've installed? Do you mean /Library/Fonts/ ? Do you mean /Users/yost/Library/Fonts/ ? Do you mean /System/Library/Fonts/ ? What if I need to change my mind as to how to answer these questions? There is no hint as to where I would go in the UI and what I would click. There is no help button on these dialogs. I have a presentation that has a TM character in it. This character has never displayed correctly on any Mac version. So imagine how confused I am as to how to answer your questions. Is there a right answer that will make the TM character show up correctly? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
