I have no spell-checking in OpenOffice. I go to File > Wizard > Install
dictionaries. Some document opens and I click the "Launch DicOOo" button. At
this point, DicOOo opens with a window width that is half that of its contents.
Meaning that I don't see half of what should be displayed. And I can't resize
the DicOOo window because it's fixed sized. I just hit the "Enter" button
without seeing what actually is activated. This works for the first tab, but
then when DicOOo has to retrieve from the Internet the list of dictionaries, it
displays "You don't seem to be connected!", and yet I'm downloading and emailing
at the same time.
