I downgraded my cvs from version 1.11.22 down to 1.11.21 and it worked. So now what I have is: Fedora Core 5 cvs-1.11.21-3.2 - works perfectly anonymous (and I guess ssh tunnel as well); Fedora Core 5 cvs-1.11.22-2 - works only if I use the ssh tunnel, not with anonymous co.
