Draft of amanda 3.4.4 for Debian
I have just prepared a draft of amanda 3.4.4 for Debian. This is the result of my work for a future amanda 3.4.4 in Debian experimental. Debian testing is in freeze, so no longer possible to prepare new package versions for testing/unstable. You can download a tar file from: http://blog.calhariz.com/public/sft/amanda/amanda-3.4.4-1_rc1_bpo8_1.tar The tar file contains the package source for anyone to recompile and the i386 packages for jessie. As I personally use amanda on Debian stable, so is easy for me to supply my packages for i386 architecture. Is easy to compile from the sources the amanda package of experimental. I can help. My recomended way to get the latest amanda 3.4.x for Debian stable jessie is to compile the experimental sources.
