Draft of amanda 3.4.4 for Debian

2017-05-05 Thread Jose M Calhariz

I have just prepared a draft of amanda 3.4.4 for Debian. This is the
result of my work for a future amanda 3.4.4 in Debian experimental.
Debian testing is in freeze, so no longer possible to prepare new
package versions for testing/unstable.

You can download a tar file from:

http://blog.calhariz.com/public/sft/amanda/amanda-3.4.4-1_rc1_bpo8_1.tar

The tar file contains the package source for anyone to recompile and
the i386 packages for jessie.

Kind regards
Jose M Calhariz

Someone have already replied with the list of packages available for
amanda. As I personally use amanda on Debian stable, so is easy for
me to supply my packages for i386 architecture.

Is easy to compile from the sources the amanda package of
experimental. I can help. My recomended way to get the latest amanda
3.4.x for Debian stable jessie is to compile the experimental sources.

2017-05-05 Thread Luc Lalonde
Salut Jean-Louis,

I can confirm that the patch version 3.4.4 solves the ‘labelstr’ bug mentioned
below.

Thank You!
