I didn't yet *use* your roles so far, but I looked through them ...
looks quite good already and covers not only the basics but additional stuff
like ssh etc

Nice work!

I have several Amanda clients running Bullseye with a Buster server. I
will move the server over sometime soon. No issues.

Bullseye:

root@amanda:~# pre amanda
amanda-client 1:3.5.1-7 amd64
amanda-common 1:3.5.1-7 amd64
root@amanda:~#

Buster:

root@hawk:~# pre amanda
amanda-client 1:3.5.1-2+b2amd64
amanda-common 1:3.5.1-2+b2amd64
amanda-server 1:3.5.1-2+b2amd64
root@hawk:~#

I don't anticipate any problems.

Great to hear, thanks for the report.

Yes, in the midst in testing it now (with SSH auth). Debian 11 server and
Centos/RHEL clients.

Only running a simple (tiny) vtape config at the moment, which test data. No
obvious problems so far...

Also developing an ansible role which I plan to publish eventually.
