I'm not sure what the question was .. but amgtar in 2.6.1 didn't have
an ACLS property:

It only works with versions of gnutar patched to support Linux ACLs, ie. Red 
Hat's version. It's in the documentation I think.

I guess atime-preserve also doesn't work on that solaris version, but that's 
unrelated.
