Are you sure /dev/rmt/1cn is the device for the tape drive?
What's the output of:
mt -f /dev/rmt/1cn status
mt -f /dev/rmt/1cn rewind

Need to find out why the second tape isn't not working correctly.
However, I switched Amanda.conf to use /dev/rmt/0cn
Tried a amtape command and got this error
