RE: problems with amtape and amanda 2.6.0p2
Interesting I have 2 tape drives on the library... ./ltoTool -S ltoTool V4.63 -- Copyright (c) 1996-2006, Exabyte Corp. Scanning your system for tape devices...OK Device | Address +- IBM ULTRIUM-TD3 | /dev/rmt/0n IBM ULTRIUM-TD3 | /dev/rmt/1n Need to find out why the second tape isn't not working correctly. However, I switched Amanda.conf to use /dev/rmt/0cn Tried a amtape command and got this error /opt/amanda/server/sbin/amtape Full update amtape: scanning all 7 slots in tape-changer rack: "/dev/rmt/0cn" uses deprecated device naming convention; using "tape:/dev/rmt/0cn" instead.
