yes i did
the backup are running fine it s only the index the problem

 I seem to recall some problem with udp packet size and
 large number of DLEs.
 
well it was what i was thinking of

This is correct, it should be index yes in the config.

WRT spindle numbers, they should correspond to the drives per box.
So you can use 1 for the 1st driv, 2 for the 2nd drive etc, per box.

with changing index to index yes it didn't solved my problem.

and the output if the commands give me the same output.

the only thing that i can see about the hosts that failed is that they a lot of
partition to backup.

one has 20 and the othr 36

 would show for dumptypes with just index?

my client is running Fedora core 2.
