Re: [AMaViS-user] Configuring Sophos with amavisd-new

2010-05-21 Thread Sebastian Heil
Hello everyone,

Mark Martinec schrieb:
Can anybody reply with a good 'how to' or reference for this.

Since version amavisd-new-2.7.0(-pre*) it is possible to use a
native Sophos protocol SSSP to connect amavisd to their daemon savdid.

Can somebody tell me where the implementation of the SSSP and the savdid
daemon are? It sounds like it is all in the Sophos-AV. But I'm using
Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux 7.1 on a SuSE SLES 11 and cannot find a
savdid daemon.

Also I didn't found any useful explanation on neither the Sophos website
nor in the Web.

Sorry for the slightly off-topic question.

[AMaViS-user] Write my own rulesets for spamassassin

2008-10-04 Thread sebastian
Hello,

I want to write my own rules - in this case my own rules for Uribl.

If this pattern is in the mail, the score should be XX.

I enabled my own rules in local.cf in /etc/mail/spamassassin with

allow_user_rules 1

The spamassassin --lint -D shows me

[16656] dbg: config: allowing user rules!

My rules in local.cf are:

uri LOCAL_URI_EXAMPLE /www\.uni-leipzig.de\.de\/2009\//
score LOCAL_URI_EXAMPLE 5.1

But my user rules are not working - the message with

www.uni-leipzig.de/2009

is not market with 5.1 points.

In the postfix-mailinglist a user said if you use amavis with spamassassin,
not all the things will happen like in the spamasassin help document.

Tnx

Sebastian

Clamd is working - ps aux | grep clamd shows

 The /var/run/clamav/clamd.ctl

 ist there too.

If I send a infected message for example the eicar-test-virus
to the mailrelay - the virus is filtered and quarantined.

 But the mail.log shows:

 Jun 20 13:41:03 server amavis[10738]: (10738-07) (!!) ask_av (ClamAV-clamd)

 What is wrong?

clamd can't access files in /var/lib/amavis/tmp/amavis-2008.../parts.

 INSTALL:

 - some virus scanners run as daemons or change UID when checking files.
It is easiest to run such virus scanners under the same UID/GID (or at least
within the same group) as amavisd, to avoid file permission problems
when virus scanner reads files prepared for checking by amavisd daemon.
Some virus scanners may require write permission to the $TEMPBASE directory
to be able to create auxiliary files there.

If a different UID is preferred for an AV scanner, a solution for ClamAV
is to add user clamav to the amavis group (e.g.: vscan:*:110:clamav
in a file /etc/group), and then add: AllowSupplementaryGroups yes
   to clamd.conf.

That's it - thanx :-)

[AMaViS-user] delivered mail does not contain x-spam headers

Hi,

the mail delivered to my mailbox does not contain X-Spam headers, but
amavis is indeed working (delivered lots of mail to ~/virusmails), also
there is the X-Virus-Scanned header in every mail. (but not the X-Spam...)

i tried:

no difference.

I attached the debug output of amavis, maybe someone can look at it.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
