Well, I'll be around. I've got the G-50, which is working, as well as a
HA-460, which I am recapping, and an old Shawnee HW-10, which is on it's
way.

Hi John,

I just moved from Philly to Cherry Hill, so none of the radio stuff is set
up yet. I have a G-50 and some Clegg stuff, so I'd love to get on 6m AM.
It just might take a few months to get going. Harry, K3HS (ex-KA3B) over
in Philly might also be interested in getting on either 6m or 2m AM.

Many cities have activity on 50.400. I know that is true in the LA(Calif.) area
and here in Manchester NH. I think that we have a "net" on Wednesdays and
Saturdays but I am not sure of the times. Give a call on 50.400 from time to
time and see what happens.

I wonder if you can get a decent shot up into New England, John? There's
a group over in the Conneticut/Boston area last I knew, fairly active.
I'm up in the middle of Vermont and I'd love to work some AM on 6 with
the old Clegg gear, but most of the guys on 6 up this way are diehard
weak signal/SSB types. Currently I only have a dipole up for 6, but the
plan this summer is to add a yagi for 6 and 2.

The rig is usually on over the weekends, but as the weather improves I
head outside more. Time to catch up on antenna work!
