Didn't hear K9ACT, but I just worked UT2IJ on SSB with a 100 watts on
7159. Lots of DX rolling in through the static.

Ron, It has ALREADY been said, "Drop it".

When you got your NE4S, they darn sure WERE NOT doing code OR writtenn 
exams like the 30s or before.

I know the QSO type exams they gave in Atlanta.  The written was also a 
joke even in 1980.

I used Military tapes to practice.  Now THOSE were like the code exams 
of yore!

No code as been around for 18 years, it won't be long
before the first no-coders can join QCWA.

The tests for ham licenses have changed all along.
I wonder how many no-code haters could pass the
tests as they were given in the 20s or 30s?
