Re these the ones that are used for the Vfo cable and AC relay cables
that connect the Globe King decks?

If they are than I need a few.

I have about a dozen of these sockets, brand shiney new, that need a home.
These do NOT have the mounting ring with ears, but are the style held in
with the funky little metal snap in place ring. However, we all know you
can strip the rings with ears off older used sockets and make them work.

Anyway, I kept a few of these for myself and have 12 in need of a home.

$1 each and shipping

if anyone desires some of these, drop me an E

Re: [AMRadio] ART 13's for sale

2005-03-03 Thread Damon Raphael

Hi Ron,
I would like one. I know that you prefer not to ship it but we maybe
able to work out either my picking it up at the next AMI Barbecue or
when one of the guys comes to what used to be the Tuthill Swap and Shop
(now in Williams,AZ)

Dennis, W7QHO usually drives to that one.
Let me know.

Due to downsizing of the QTH I am forced to sell some of my beloved boat

Three ART 13's cleaned and ready to go with downloaded manuals, power supply
suggestions and some idea's from users with respect to modifications.

These sell on eBay for $250 - $350 and $289.00 at Surplus Sales of Nebraska.

$175.00 firm, first come first served.

Two are virgin, one has several enhancements to the output circuit.

All sitting in my office in Irvine for inspection, purchase and pick up. I
prefer not to ship the ART 13's unless absolutely necessary. We are right
across the street from the Orange County John Wayne Airport about 200 yards off
the 5 Freeway at Mac Arthur.

If shipping is required I will only charge you for the packaging and actual
shipping, no goofy handling charges.

Re: [AMRadio] ART 13's for sale

2005-03-03 Thread Damon Raphael

Hi Ed,
The AMI events are announced on the Wednesday evening West Coast AMI Net.
The last one was at the end of August so expect another one in 5 to 6
months unless someone decides to have a party at the spur of the
moment. I made one at my place about a year and a half ago. It was a
load of fun and got to meet some new AM dudes that I didn't know.

Best regards,

Re: [AMRadio] AM Bulletin Board

2005-02-08 Thread Damon Raphael

Are you using TeaTimer?
If you enable it (resident module), TeaTimer will tell you if something is
trying to write to the registry and not permit the write unless you OK it.

Damon, W7MD

I also have Spybot Search and Destroy, and update it regularly. But I
wonder about its effectiveness. Everytime I run it, it always finds the
exact same 5 registry entries and deletes them. So last time I tried an
experiment. I ran it, and sure enough it deleted those registry entries.
I IMMEDIATELY rescanned, and sure enough, it once again found the exact
same 5 problems and fixed them. I am wondering if it is really finding
anything or fixing anything.

Ad-Aware usually finds a long list of date miner cookies and deletes
them, but nearly all are rated as low risk. I usually run it about once
a week.
