FYI, in an upcoming issue of the K9YA Telegraph, there will be an article on
the MON - KEY, which was dubbed the first electronic keyer.

[AMRadio] Odd ball assistance requested...

2004-07-28 Thread Mike D.
In an upcoming issue of the K9YA Telegraph, there is a humorous article
about a 1948 basic AM transmitter kit. I'm looking for a copy of a magazine
ad or picture of the rig and any other information you might have or recall.
The rig used an open chassis with a 7N7 crystal oscillator, 7C5 final and
7C5 modulator. It was very inexpensive and even used fiberboard tubes for
knobs.

Tks in advance.

BTW, if anyone is interested in the K9YA Telegraph, you can download a
sample copy or subscribe at http://www.qsl.net/k9ya It's free!

It sounds like someone customized their AF-67. There was a lot of chrome on
the dashboards of cars from the 50s and maybe the owner wanted it to match.
I'd love to see a picture. I don't think they ever came from the factory
that way.

BTW, have you seen my Multi-Elmac Web page?
