The 40M AM frequency is 7290. But I have only heard SSB there and not very
often.

I have not heard anything on 14286 in well over a year.

And in the PNW 3870 is dead because of band conditions.

Great Mont.  If the antenna police come you can call your antenna lawyer who
can establish first hand that the particular antenna deed restriction
involved was abandoned by virtue of 8 years unfettered operation on Club

 Well I finally gave up on the rain gutter on 75 meters!  I snuck up an
75
 meter dipole (double bazooka type) that's mostly hidden by the trees so,
 hopefully, the neighborhood antenna police won't come knocking...  The
 Ranger II likes it a lot better than the rain gutter so maybe some of you
 will be able to hear me next time I try.
