Some have a triangle too. Conelrad ended in 1963.

Sounds like CONRAD setup...which would put the other frequency around 
600khz

or 610khz if I remember right.


There were 2 frequencies:   640 and 1240 kc.

Many 50's vintage radios have a little "CD" (civil defence) icon printed at 
those points on the dial.
