[AMRadio] Dx 60 question

2009-07-02 Thread Todd Carpenter

Does anyone know if the dx 60 has a fuse somewhere in the power chain? If its a
breaker, where is it or how is it reset? Thanks. Todd

The DX-60, just as the Apache and some others, has the fuses built into
the power plug, with a fuse in EACH leg - IF original.

If that has been changed, then you will have to investigate the rig to
see where the fuse was placed as a modification.

The DX-60B units I've seen had a thermal circuit breaker under the
chassis - it automatically resets if working properly.

Not sure about the DX-60A model.

I believe the DX-60 (no suffix) had fuses in the AC power plug.
