Hey Bob Don't Knock that BE AM1A its a great sounding little transmitter we have one over at WVPO that's what replaced the Collins 300G . BTW its normal for that BE AM1A to come with a Stereo Card unless they asked for them not to include the card... that's what the rep for BE told me at the NAB show in Philly last month. the stereo card is only $850 if it didn't come with it.. usually its in there and the switch is off. Please tell me that they did get the card.. Please.. I think before its over with I'll end up with some sort of radio museum here. Hi Neal I think you can save it by just chipping the old one out and grinding the broken one to fit exactly the shape of the inside base plate. It should work without adhesive once the tower is set on it, gravity keeps it in place and the glue is more like a cushion.
