Re: [AMRadio] Re: AM BANDWARMING
Don: If there is a vote, I vote for 3650 as 3610 is a bit close to the CW/digi portion if running "Hi Fi" AM.(might serve as a band edge marker too??) I am only "QRP" with a hundred Watts but hope to be on when its "1201". 73, Charlie, K0NG __ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:AMRadio@mailman.qth.net

Good luck there, Don! I've been trying to get that to happen for a while now, instead the 'Clump Factor' results. And if I or others leave a conversation to start up another one, often the other conversation ends up on that frequency. I'll be there, regardless of whether I've upgrade to Extra or not. Here's hoping enough participants show up to make this idea work. If nothing else, 3-4 people calling CQ on different frequencies should offer some respectable AM beacons for others to home in on. Other than the few bad nights we've had recently, I've heard a lot of activity on 75 as well as 160. ~ Todd, KA1KAQ __ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:AMRadio@mailman.qth.net __ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:AMRadio@mailman.qth.net

Don - 3645 would be a good frequency because is it 5 kHz below 3650, AND because I have a good supply of crystals for that spot. 73 - Bry, AF4K __ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:AMRadio@mailman.qth.net
