[amsat-bb] Amsat.org alias not working.
Since I have referenced k5...@amsat.org as how to reach me, I discovered that the alias is not working although it shows the correct destination email in the system and such. k5...@arrl.net does work so please use that one for now. Anyone know if there is an issue with the system? 73, Tom K5VOU ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member? [amsat-bb] AO7-b
For those wondering about AO7-b, it is alive and well on the 2100UTC pass over the US, good signal from Paulo, PV8DX, yes it is still FM'ing some, but it is very readable when it is not being hammered. Nikolai, again has asked me to post up that he will be mobile on Thursday and the Grid Hunters should check hi QRZ.com page for updates. Remember, he is on a family vacation and is trying to work new grids while balancing his time with his family. Thanks Nikolai for the grids you have worked from! 73 K4FEG ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member? [amsat-bb] Yaesu 5500 rotor question
I had a 5500 azmith rotator lockup over winter. I finally had time to take it down and find the problem. Now a different problem. I forgot to mark the housing position before separating the upper/lower azmith assemblies. I think I know where it was pointed, but how can I tell where it should be aligned? Is this really a non issue? ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member? Join now to support the amateur satellite program! [amsat-bb] FT-726R tuning problems.
Hi, My Operators manual for the FT-726R instructs me to tune the receiver while transmitting to the satellite in order to listen for my down link. However on my 726, the RX tuning is locked while in transmit, duplex or otherwise. Is there a mod necessary or is this a software change made after mine was built? Looking for clues from 726 users. Thanks. 73, Tom K5VOU ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member? Join now to support the amateur satellite program!
