[amsat-bb] HO-68 Pass Heard
I thought I would give a listen for the HO-68 beacon this evening, and even though I don't have CW on the FT-60R, I knew that you could listen low and hear a bit of the signal on the FM side bleeding through. Sure enough, I heard a weak, high-pitch CW identifier repeating itself wy down in the noise about S1 on 435.775 mHz at 0437 UTC. I caught J1SA pretty clearly with several pauses thrown in afterward before the repeat, confirming later that the call is BJ1SA-11. [amsat-bb] HO-68 Not Heard
I did not hear HO-68 on 12Jan on the afternoon North America passes. This morning 13Jan it was not heard at 1408 UTC either. The beacon appears to be off as well. Hello Group, I am hearing the HO-68 beacon strong while writing this ( 21:25 utc) I have seen reports here that the bird was not heard for a while, I guess it's still out there. [amsat-bb] HO-68 Not Heard ?
Hi, I noticed the beacon info showed for 5 cycles before switch on ( 18h45 UTC) that temp was 21C . FM and DIGITAL was active normal for 13 mins 23 sec after switch on.
