[amsat-bb] Re: ARISSat-1 over ZL

2011-08-04 Thread Alan Cresswell
Hi Phil,

The first few passes I concentrated on telemetry.
On my last 18 deg pass I was copying myself through the transponder but with
a poor signal. On my just completed pass I was getting good signals back
from the transponder but with a strong 6 second polarization fade.
The satellite went into eclipse halfway through the current pass and went to
its on/off mode.

Could you hear any receiver noise in the transponder passband?

Reasonable signals from ARISsat-1 telemetry over ZL. 12 telemetry frames
and 12 Kursk frames received. Short test on the transponder but nothing
heard.
