[amsat-bb] TIsat-1 HB9DE new packet collector online

2010-07-18 Thread spacelab
Hello radio amateurs,
we appreciate your work and your reports about TIsat-1
HB9DE CubeSat mission. We want to thank you and encourage
to follow again our mission.
We published a new web application that allow you to
translate beacon's packets into relative temperature
values and meanwhile to transmit these packet to us if you
want.
The application can be used either online or downloaded
for an offline usage. The link to find it is

http://www.spacelab.dti.supsi.ch/beaconcw.html

If you want to upload directly the packets, please
register to our forum, where you can also ask questions
directily to us.
If you want only to decode the packets you receive than
the application can save formatted log files.

Thank you, again!
Regards,

73 SUPSI SpaceLab, HB9SRC

[amsat-bb] TIsat-1 Launch

2010-07-11 Thread Daniel Kekez
[Re-posted on behalf of Paolo HB9TYP]

Hi All,

TIsat-1 HB9DE is to be launched aboard the Indian PSLV-C15
  on 12th July 2010
from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota (SDSC-SHAR),
Andhra Pradesh, India.

The lift off is at 03:52 UTC and the TIsat-1 is to be injected
into orbit around 04:11 UTC.
The CW beacon would be transmitting at the earliest at 04:26 UTC,
15 minutes after separation from the launcher.
Beacon Frequency is 437.305 MHz (400 mW).

The predicted TLE for TIsat-1 is as follows:
TIsat-1
1 8U 10034Y 10193.17708333 .2592 0-0 35304-3 0 7
2 8 098.1177 252.3288 0008033 272.0048 315.2117 14.78702228001648

During its first orbit, starting about 04:50 UTC, stations around West
and North Mexico, Western Coast of US, followed by Canada, Alaska, North
and Central Asia would be able to receive the beacon signal.

We kindly request stations over these regions to listen on to the beacon
frequency and provide us with their valuable reports. This help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
